Shari Johns is the owner and founder of as you wish wedding & event planning. She has been creating fabulous weddings in the Dallas/Fort Worth area for over 11 years. Shari serves on the board of several wedding industry associations. She’s the former President and a founding board member of American Association of Certified Wedding Planners (AACWP). She’s earned the title of Master Certified Wedding Planner – one of just a few in all of Dallas. Shari’s fun personality, strong communication skills, sharp mind, and eye for detail make her a favorite of clients and vendors alike.
Heather Aston makes her home in Dallas, but is originally from Coweta, Oklahoma, a small town outside Tulsa. A graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelors in English Education and a Masters in Library Science from the University of North Texas. While helping friends with events Heather found she had a passion for event planning and organization. Heather has been working with Shari for many years and is an integral part of as you wish. Heather is also a graduate of the AACWP wedding planning certification class and is a Trained Wedding Planner. Heather knows that every element of each wedding is important and strives for nothing less than excellence in everything she does.
Amanda Moore grew up in Texas after her family moved from Tampa, Florida. She is a graduate of North Central Texas College with a degree in Art History. Amanda is also a graduate of the AACWP wedding planning certification class and is a Trained Wedding Planner. AACWP is an association of professional wedding and event planners emphasizing extraordinary client service standards and excellence in organization. Amanda excels at pleasing each and every client and making sure the event is exactly what they dreamed of.
Cassie Boots grew up in Nashville, Tennessee and graduated from Tennessee Tech University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Ecology with a concentration in Housing and Design. After helping plan numerous weddings for family and friends, she decided to bring her creativity and design background to the Dallas wedding world and seek a career as a Wedding Planner. Cassie’s favorite part of the planning process is developing a creative direction for weddings as unique as the brides she works for. Cassie is also a graduate of the AACWP wedding planning certification class and is a Trained Wedding Planner.
