If The Shoe Fits

They should definitely be stylish, and coordinate with the dress. It’s also a plus if they don’t slip and slide or chafe and bind. But what if a bride needs more from her wedding day footwear than just the standard requests?

Over the years, I have met many wonderful couples that fall into the “Tom & Katie” or “Tony & Eva” category – know what I mean? A wide difference in height is no big thing when it comes to true love, but it can certainly pose a challenge on the big day. For a wedding, with all its photo opportunities and romantic kisses before the crowd, it makes a lot of sense to choose a pretty pair that can level the playing field, so to speak.
That is not to say, however, that you have to sacrifice form for function if you’re shopping for something a little outside the norm. Quite the contrary! Below you’ll find my top picks for bridal flats and height-enhancing heels. Enjoy!
